In collaboration with the Comorian Meteorological Service and University of Comoros and others, we shall investigate the spatial variability of rainfall and factors that influence
the seasonal to inter annual variability.

Weather and hazard outlooks for fishing opertions

This collaboration focuses on setting up available weather predictions, development of customized predictions and the translation of these for cyclone,
high wind speed, heavy rain and inundation forecasting.
Fisheries outlooks
There is potential for use of remote sensing and oceanic model output for fisheries. This work is based on tying together fisheries information and
environmental information.
